Fighter 40 was a blue anthropomorphic wolf fighter who lost in the Elimination Round of the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. He made it to the final elimination round which would have resulted in being in the tournament but he was set up against Yamcha. He thought Yamcha's Wolf Fang style was a silly name, but then he was defeated by a technique from this style, the Blinding Wolf Fang Fist. His fight with Yamcha is the only time Blinding Wolf Fang Fist has been shown in the anime, but the technique reappeared in video games.
