Future Trunks used this attack at the Northern Wastelands to kill King Cold. After receiving Future Trunks' sword, believing it to be the young Saiyan's source of power, King Cold tried to slash him with it. However, Future Trunks easily caught the sword
with his bare hands and blasted a hole through King Cold with the God Breaker, gravely injuring and blasting the tyrant onto the side of a cliff. As King Cold desperately begged for his life, Future Trunks blasted him again with the God Breaker, putting an end to the evil king's life. He used it a third time to destroy King Cold's spaceship. He also uses it in attempt to stop Cell from absorbing Android 18.
